EAGLE FEATHERS
Commonly used by most Indian people throughout their history in religion, as a symbol of personal achievement, and of prowess in battle. The splendid tail feathers of the bald eagle were treasured as coup feathers and altered with notches, splits, colored dyes and quill wraps to denote different exploits. Wings were and are used as ceremonial fans and badges of office.
