Being a native Californian, I have finally reached the point in life where one can expect anything from the weather and seldom be disappointed. This point of view could have something to do with my attraction to the West Coast of British Columbia and its similar climatic moods. Having been long fascinated by the artistic skills of the Haida, Tlingit, Tsimshian and Kwakiutl people, I have attempted to emulate their style in the work being presented here.
My other interests include: Living history Re-enactments of the Fur Trade era of the 1830's, representational art, pre- 1840 weapons, tools and skills, blacksmithing, primitive camping and the history of the American West.
I am a professional Goldsmith and live in Sonoma County, California.

Fourteen years ago, I fell in love with an Amethyst necklace, way out of my price range, but it got me to thinking...I used to make Hippie earrings while in high school and I then obsessed about how I could make this necklace myself. I went to my goldsmith friend, Larry, who had made my wedding ring several years earlier, seeking advice; and ended up with the hobby of making and selling jewelry. The resulting friendship/ partnership grew to its current business status which we now present as:
MythicArt.com.
I am still wearing the same wedding ring, with Peter, a professional "do gooder" (Visit him at gpfd.org.) My two teenage children try to keep me more computer literate, here in Santa Rosa, California.
